SHAREit Problem Transfer

SHAREit Problem Transfer

In this guide, I have taken the example of transferring the files between my android smartphone and windows PC. Same procedure can be applicable while transferring files for any devices like android to iPhone, iPhone to windows, etc.,

Requirements :

The devices going to transfer the files must have a WiFi functionality. [Only WiFi, no data connection required]
To begin transferring the files between one device to another, all you need is the SHAREit application installed on both the devices. You can download the shareit app for PC to use in windows.

How To Steps :

1. Open the App on your Android device and choose “Send” option.
2. Now Choose the files you want to share. Once you selected the files click on “Next”
3. Now the app will search for the nearby SHAREit device [nothing but your PC].
4. Open the SHAREit app on your PC and click “Receive”.
5. Now your app in the phone will show the nearby device. Tap on the device from your phone, so that it will start sending the files to your PC.

You can do the same steps vice-versa to transfer the files from PC to your smartphone.

How to transfer data’s from PC to PC/Android using Shareit?

Step1: Open shareit on your windows PC.

Step2: You can share files and folders from shareit by three ways

By Selecting ‘Send’ option from the app and browsing the files and folders you want to send and selecting next.
By dragging and dropping the files you need to share into the main app window, you’ll be automatically navigated to the next step.
By right clicking on the folder/file you want to send and selecting ‘Send to other devices using shareit’. This way will work even without opening shareit.

Step3: On the next step, the app will scan for nearby devices. And, when your friend’s phone/PC is found, select it. The select files will be shared now.

How to transfer data from Android to Android or PC using Shareit?

Step1: Open Shareit app on your Android device from which the data is to be shared. Select ‘Send’.

Step2: From here, you can select the content you want to share. Swipe for more options – Photo, App, Contact, Music, Video and File.

Photo – Use this to share photos. Here you’ll see the photos arranged in folders. You can select photos by selecting from those folders or select each folder as a whole to share.
App – This lists all the installed apps and you can select specific apps to send or send all apps to the other device easily with this option.
Contact – Lists your contacts for easy sharing.
Music – The music in your phone is listed similarly to that of a Music player (this will save you a lot of time). Music is listed as – All songs, Artists, Album and Folder. You can select the music from these lists similarly as we did with the Photos.
Video – Videos in the phone are shown in a similar way as that in ‘Photo’.
File – Here you can browse all your files and folders and select particular files and folders you want to share.

And one more thing, you can share all of these contents by clicking on the check box that you see right next to the menu names.

Step3: The next step is to share those files you have selected from the last step. First thing to do is in this step is to get your other phone/PC ready for receiving. To do that, open shareit on the other phone/PC and select ‘Receive’.

Step4: Now, select ‘Next’ on the first device. Your device will scan for nearby devices. And, when your friend’s phone/PC is found, select it. The selected files will be shared now.

SHAREit Problem Transfer

Sending files over the Internet often takes too long and transferring them via direct connection is a nightmare of incompatibility. Sure, you can tap two Samsung phones together to share that HD video, but what about when your friend has an iPhone or a PC laptop? Enter Lenovo's SHAREIt, a new free app from the leading PC vendor that lets you send files between any Android, iOS, Windows or Mac OS devices in the room over Wi-Fi direct. SHAREit even sends files to entire groups, and works just as well whether you own a Lenovo device or not.

SHAREit is one of Lenovo's new suite of DoIT apps, which include SYNCIt, for backing up phone contacts and other data, SECUREIt for keeping your phone virus-free and two camera functions: SNAPIt and SEEIt. All of the non-camera functions are available as free downloads for any Android device. However, SHAREIt stands out by offering a more compelling and comprehensive Wi-Fi direct sharing service than we've seen elsewhere.

Lenovo's Ashley  Perry gave us a demo of SHAREIt, showing just how easy it is to use this application for high-speed, local file transfers. First, she opened SHAREIt on a Lenovo VibeX phone, hit the send button and selected a photo from her gallery. Then a list of local devices running SHAREIt (with receive mode on) appeared and she hit send to transfer the file to a coworker who was also on a Vibe X.

She then entered Group Sharing mode and selected an existing group, which consisted of two  other devices. The group screen looked and acted like a powerful chatroom as Perry sent text messages to the other users then pulled up a whiteboard mode and sent a drawing directly to the other users. She also said she could send files to group.

Perry then demonstrated pairing with a PC, using a Moto X to communicate with her ThinkPad laptop, which was running a Windows version of SHAREit. From her handset, she was not only able to send photos to the laptop, but also to go forward or backward through slides in PowerPoint, a real benefit for business users.
